Wow, it's been a while! Well I'm back in school now. Here's some pictures from a rousing war game yesterday. It was nice taking pictures of people up close. But how do you take pictures of people without everyone involved "feeling weird"?
When you're surrounded on every side by all this graffiti, it's kind of peaceful. It's a little weird to explain, but I suppose it's that the whole place just feels like it was crafted by actual people. At the top of the stairway it's high enough of a drop that you might get dizzy looking down. But the view up there is really something else.
These are pictures of my good friend's art room in a public school in the Bronx. He just started his teaching career. It's a Friday afternoon and he's holding a session of art club.
One day, I will travel to every cool place in the world. But until I can make it out there by my own means, I'll be voyaging as far as an unemployed amateur photographer can go. So until then, that pretty much means an hour train ride from Long Island into New York City.
